It allows USB printing and has an Auto Power ON that can detect a print command and would switch on upon USB connection. The maximum document size is A4/LTR (216 x 297mm) with printable width of up to 8 inches.
The scanner flatbed uses CIS (Contact Image Sensor) with an optical resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi, and scanning ability of colored and grayscale. Speed is estimated at 14 secs.
Copying quality, on the other hand, is fast and standard with an approximate speed of 31 seconds. Multiple copy is limited to 21 pages at a time.

For a vibrant and long-lasting prints it is best advise to use their original ink – PG-745S (Pigment Black), PG-745 (Pigment Black), CL-746S (Colour), and CL-746 (Colour).
