The Asian Peace and Unity Corps Philippines (APUC) under the umbrella of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) through its Search and Selection Panel on PEACE Awards bestowed “Best Station” in Radio Category to DWDD 1134 kHz KATROPA RADIO during the ceremonies held on January 31, 2015 during the Asian Summit 2015 with the theme “Toward Peace, Security and Human Development in the Asia Pacific Region” at the historic Manila Hotel, Philippines.

The UPF bestows the PEACE Awards in recognition to deserving individuals and organizations in their field of expertise that contributes to peace, unity and prosperity in the country.
UPF is a global non-government organization with special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. It supports the work of the United Nations, particularly in the areas of interfaith peace-building, peace education, and the strengthening of marriage and family.
Dedicated to achieving world peace, UPF is an international network of individuals and organizations, including representatives from religion, government, civil society and the private sector.
