Administration senatorial candidate Bong Go has vowed to be an advocate of women’s rights and welfare, in line with the celebration of the International Women’s Day.

The Hugpong ng Pagbabago senatorial slate member also remarked that the current administration recognizes the importance of the role and contribution of women in the society.

“Ibinibigay ko po ang pinakamataas na pagpupugay sa mga kababaihan, sa mga ina ng tahanan, sa mga kapatid na babae, tiyahin, ate, at sa lahat ng kababaihan sa lahat ng sector,” Go said.

“Mabuhay po kayong lahat ngayong Araw ng mga Kababaihan sa buong mundo,” he added.

Go also assured that once elected as senator, he would continue the president’s efforts in bring laws that would give direct benefits to women.

“Ipagpapatuloy ko po ang mga pagbabagong nasimulan ni Pangulong Duterte , kasama na ang mga programa para sa kapakanan ng ating mga kababaihan,” Go said.

Under the Duterte administration, several laws beneficial to women have been signed including the Expanded Maternity Leave Act, and the Kalusugan at Nutrisyon ng Mag-Nanay Act.

Administration senatorial candidate Bong Go today vowed to promote and uphold women’s rights.

He assured Filipino women that the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte recognizes the important contribution of women to society and the nation.

As the country marked International Women’s day, Go saluted and expressed his respect and administration for women.

“Ibinibigay ko po ang pinakamataas na pagpupugay sa mga kababaihan: sa mga ina ng tahanan, sa mga kapatid na babae, tiyahin, ate, at sa lahat ng kababaihan sa lahat ng sektor.”

Go added ” Mabuhay po kayong lahat ngayong Araw ng mga Kababaihan sa buong mundo.”

The President’s former special assistant said one of his priorities when elected senator ,would be laws that would provide direct benefits to  filipino women.
