Now on its ninth year, the annual Mall of Asia Grand Mascot Parade entertained the festive crowd with a showcase of various giant balloons and mascots at the Mall of Asia grounds on the very first day of 2018—January 1.
To welcome the new year, Vivo joined in on the festivities in the grandest way possible. Vivo had their very own mascots—forty of them—march in the Grand Mascot Parade, to the delight of the spectators. The great assemblage of Vivo mascots is representative of the scale of success the brand gained in the past year. Vivo also distributed a total of 1,000 balloons to the crowds gathered during the parade.
Vivo was the fifth largest brands globally in the third quarter of 2017, capturing market share of 7.1%. Out of the top 5, Vivo observed the highest year-over-year growth of 32% in global shipment. In the Philippines, Vivo found its place among the Top 3 best phone brand which the Filipinos patronize, capturing market share of 11%.
