While it’s a natural course in a woman’s body, menopause still has a silent yet existing stigma anchored to it. This, and the lack of support to help women undergoing this stage in their lives is what encouraged a pioneering advocacy brand to establish a safe space for menopausal women.
“What makes the menopausal journey even harder is the fact that there is no community locally that addresses the problem that women encounter,” said Claudine Viquiera, Pro Age Solutions chief advocate and founder.
Starting the #OwnYourAge movement, Pro Age Solutions recently unveiled its first skincare line in a call for women to embrace their age. Formulated in Korea, the skincare products address the visible manifestation of the symptoms of menopause.
The brand also aims to promote mental health and overall wellness to combat the loss of self-esteem and confidence that normally arise from the changes in the skin and appearance caused by menopause.
