ARMSCOR Global Defense, Inc., the country’s biggest and oldest manufacturer of firearms, is set to host its first post-pandemic Tactical, Survival, and Arms (TACS) Expo at the Megatrade Hall of SM Megamall from June 23 to 26.
The said expo is set to showcase new models of defense weapons, sporting goods, and safety equipment, according to ARMSCOR CEO and senior executive vice president Gina Marie G. Angangco.
Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año will be the guest of honor of the TACS Expo which aims to educate the public on defense, security, and survival during disasters and emergency situations.
The Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force, and Philippine Coast Guard will also feature various rescue materials and other equipment in their respective booths.
On the first day of the expo, there will be a talk about alternative energy, gun safety, rescue techniques, and data privacy to be led by Emergency Management Center director Louie Domingo.
The expo will also have a License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF) caravan where firearms owners can renew their licenses, register their weapons, and secure clearances.
