PLDT Home is boosting its cybersecurity efforts through a collaboration with premier global cybersecurity provider Kaspersky granting all PLDT Home Fiber subscribers a complimentary 24-month Kaspersky Premium Security License starting June 2024.
The complimentary license can be accessed by up to three devices per active Fiber subscriber.
With a multilayer approach to cybersecurity, the Kaspersky Premium Security is capable of signature-based detection, heuristic analysis, behavioral monitoring, web protection, and automatic updates.
These functions serve as a comprehensive real-time protection against a wide range of malware threats while devices are connected to the internet 24/7.
This new consumer offer is part of the PLDT Group’s cybersecurity initiatives. In 2023, the telco giant blocked 478 million SMShing messages from reaching PLDT and Smart customers and prevented more than 28 billion attempts at accessing malicious domains.
