TDCX, one of the best BPO companies in the Philippines, marched along with its empowered women in celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD) last March 8 with the theme #ChooseToChallenge – a global thrust for a gender-equal world by calling out biases in society.
In support of IWD’s #ChooseToChallenge campaign, TDCX united its global teams to celebrate and empower their women in the workplace. TDCX amplified this year’s campaign by featuring some of its most empowered TDCX staff across the globe in a promotional poster released through their various social media assets. The poster, a creative collage of TDCX employees striking the #ChooseToChallenge pose, highlights men and women who pledged to continue calling out biases and conventions for the sake of gender equality.
TDCX also created a short video of local employees from TDCX Philippines fearlessly putting forward their ideas on what it means to be a woman, the challenges that come with it, and their key role in society. On top of those initiatives, the BPO company made available a customized Facebook frame to further show solidarity and promote awareness around women’s month.
Through participating in the worldwide #ChooseToChallenge theme, they were able to connect their women employees and promote them to the world, serving as inspiration and strength to all women. It also made clear the value that the BPO company puts on workplace inclusion and equality.
The Value of Women at TDCX
With all the challenges women have been facing across all fields, it’s only fitting to celebrate their strength and courage to overcome it every single day. March is the month to help us remember to honor every amazing woman on this planet and for us to not stop the fight in securing a balanced society where women can be a part too.
In workplaces like TDCX Philippines, women play a vital role to keep the company’s daily grind moving. This is best evidenced by the fact that 68% of the Executive Leadership team in TDCX Philippines is comprised of females.
On a global level, the BPO company also prides itself on having highly qualified women hold top leadership roles leading their operations. Another accomplishment of note is the establishment of the Women Network over a year ago, an internal organization at TDCX Malaysia, created to further provide assistance to its women employees and create a better work environment for them.
Celebrating Girl Power through #BeHappier
Through its CSR pillar #BeHappier, TDCX continuously advocates an inclusive workplace where women too are valued and elevated. Originally launched as a marketing campaign in July 2018, #BeHappier came into with the belief that boosting employee satisfaction and morale can in turn increase productivity, therefore creating a happy workplace atmosphere. This proactive attitude towards taking care of their employees puts BPO experience on a different level.
#BeHappier weaves together TDCX’s 10,000 employees, including women, to be better and happier by focusing on critical areas like inclusion & diversity and equality. Leadership, be it in the workplace and any other field, is not exclusive to one but should be open for all who can take on the challenge, and definitely, women have taken that stage too.
At TDCX, women are valued and their contributions are highlighted, so they are more visible and empowered to make a mark for themselves. Their skills, ideals, and compassionate heart matched with their intelligence bring a well-balanced atmosphere when it comes to decision-making in the workplace. It challenges the status quo right now and it brings a positive, inviting change that inspires other women to stand up and leave a mark of their own.
