Cybersecurity solutions provider Fortinet recently announced its acquisition of Next DLP, a strategic move that strengthens its position as a partner of enterprises in need of top security services.
Fortinet targets to leverage Next DLP’s technology to enhance the data loss prevention capabilities of the Fortinet security service edge (SSE) and to include insider risk and data prevention features to the Fortinet Security Fabric.
“Next DLP will significantly strengthen our data loss prevention capabilities, helping customers manage insider risk across SASE and endpoint deployments,” said Fortinet CEO, chairman of the board, and founder Ken Xie.
Meanwhile, Next DLP CEO Connie Stack mentioned that integrating Next DLP with Fortinet allows the firm to extend its data security solutions to more organizations around the globe.
“Innovating data security has been our sole focus since day one. By prioritizing the protection of our customers, we have developed leading solutions for insider risk and data protection,” she said.
Next DLP offers a cloud-native SaaS data protection platform that expands from endpoint to cloud.
Its capabilities has been lauded with many awards from industry analysts including the Representative Vendor in the 2023 Gartner Market Guide for Loss Prevention and the 2023 Gartner Market Guide for Insider Risk Management Solutions.
