Giro d’Luca is an annual cycling event held in the picturesque province of Bohol, Philippines. Since its inception in 2013, it has offered cyclists of all levels a unique opportunity to discover Bohol’s stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage in a non-competitive, camaraderie-driven environment. As part of the Full Ironman in Melbourne, Giro d’Luca places a strong emphasis on endurance, wellness, and community spirit. Open to cycling enthusiasts of all backgrounds, it celebrates both the sport and the breathtaking beauty of the region.
Once again, Bohol served as the vibrant backdrop for the Giro d’Luca, a three-day cycling celebration held from May 23 to 25, 2025. Spanning nearly 500 kilometers, the event guided cyclists through scenic routes across Panglao, Loboc, the renowned Chocolate Hills, and other iconic locations throughout the province.

Now in its twelfth year, the Giro d’Luca has evolved from a private birthday ride into a beloved regional cycling tradition. Founded in 2012 by Gianluca Guidicelli, a restaurateur, entrepreneur, and multisport athlete, the event was created to share his passion for health, community, and the natural beauty of the Philippines.
This year’s Giro d’Luca continued its intimate atmosphere, welcoming a close-knit group of family and friends who share a deep love for cycling and the outdoors. Unlike traditional competitive races, Giro d’Luca focuses on the experience—bringing riders together to foster camaraderie while enjoying some of the country’s most scenic routes.

“Celebrating life and community has always been at the heart of the Giro d’Luca. Over the past decade, it’s been amazing to see the passion for cycling grow among fellow athletes. We hope to continue that spirit on the roads of Bohol for many more years,” said Gianluca Guidicelli, founder of the Giro d’Luca.
The 2025 edition was made possible thanks to the support of valued partners, with The Bellevue Resort Bohol and Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort serving as official hotel partners, offering exceptional hospitality and comfort to participants throughout the event. Nature’s Spring also returned as the official hydration partner, ensuring riders remained refreshed and supported during every leg of the scenic journey.
Following this year’s success, Giro d’Luca is set to return to Bohol in May 2026.
