Celebrate the Season with Don Papa Rum’s Taste of Sugarlandia

Don Papa Rum, the award-winning Filipino single-island rum distilled from the finest Negros sugarcane, invites you to escape the gloom and step into the warm, whimsical world of Sugarlandia. To prove it, Don Papa Rum is hitting the streets of Metro Manila, teaming up with some of the trendiest new bars to deliver a dose of tropical fun even in the middle of monsoon season.

From August 5 to September 5, 2025, head to Frm Mgmt (From Management) in Rada, Makati, Polilya in Poblacion, Makati, and Engkanto Taps in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, for a cheeky sunset promo that’s impossible to resist. Snap a photo with the iconic Don Papa Sugarlandia Mirror, post it on your socials tagging @donpaparum and using #EndlessSugarlandiaSeason, and enjoy your second Don Papa cocktail on the house. Because this season is too short for just one drink!

Each trendy bar has their own inspiration on creating Don Papa Rum cocktail. Vien Bote, Owner of Frm Mgmt, a cocktail lounge by night and a cafe by day, stated “Our cocktail dances between a sweetness and spice—just like the islands it was born from, and one cocktail called “Mask, Set, Go!” is inspired by the MassKara Festival from Bacolod City in the Philippines.

Frank Yu, Marketing Manager of Polilya, a sister company of Engkanto Taps, shared “Each of our cocktails brings Don Papa’s spirit and versatility to life in unique ways and are inspired by stories and personalities, each with its own playful twist”.  

While Frm Mgmt and Polilya focuses on origin and stories of Don Papa’s golden liquid, Engkanto Taps’ cocktail spotlights juicy, tropical flavors like mango and lychee — perfect for sweet tooths craving a taste of summer on even the grayest days.

And if your idea of a perfect season is chilling at home with friends, Don Papa’s got you covered. Try the Don’s Daiquiri, a refreshing twist that’s easy to make and guaranteed to bring the party to your own living room:

Don’s Daiquiri Recipe

• 50ml Don Papa Rum
• 25ml fresh lime juice
• 20ml simple syrup (1:1 sugar and water) 

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a chilled glass, and garnish with a lime wheel. Cheers to an endless summer, wherever you are!
