The Design Center of the Philippines (DCP) celebrated recently the World Industrial Design Day by organizing workshops and talks on the impact of design on the physical, emotional and psychological well-being of a community.
Held at the Robins Design Center in Ortigas, the one-day event had the theme “Designing Wellness”. Speakers included mental health advocate and multi-awarded digital marketer Dominique de Leon, building biologist and Holy Carabao Farms founder Melanie Go, and Innovable, Inc. chief design officer Christina Guanzon. The workshops were attended by representatives of the different sectors of the design industry. DCP, which is committed to cultivating a culture that thrives in creativity, value creation and innovation, tirelessly implements projects to provide Filipino designers a platform not only to sharpen their talents but also to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills so they can compete in the global scene.
