Canon Marketing Philippines Inc. has brought to the local shores the brand’s newest full-frame mirrorless cameras, the EOS R5 Mark II and EOS R1.
Carrying a 45-megapixel sensor with 8K 60P RAW recording capability, the Canon EOS R5 Mark II is designed to be faster, better, and smarter than its predecessor.
It comes with a next-generation Dual Intelligent AF system that uses a powerful processing speed and power for an enhanced autofocus and subject detection.
Plus, the Canon EOS R5 Mark II has the 10-bit Canon Log 2 responsible for boosted vivid color reproduction. It also allows seamless integration with the Cinema EOS workflow.

Meanwhile, Canon Marketing (Philippines) Inc. director of consumer information and tagging Jian Liu said that the EOS R1 and EOS R5 Mark II offer improved features on the EOS R3 and R5, making them ideal for sports, news reporting, and high-end video production.
The Philippine launch of the new Canon cameras highlighted discussions from renowned Filipino photographers Edwin Martinez, Jay Tablante, Jijo De Guzman, and filmmakers Kara Moreno and Ian Celis on how the EOS R1 and R5 Mark II are ideal for shooting natural landscapes, commercial portraits, sports, cinematography, and weddings.
