International technology firm Lenovo recently announced its latest series of personal computers (PCs) backed with artificial intelligence apt for today’s digitally driven environment.
According to Lenovo Philippines President and General Manager Michael Ngan, this is in line with the company’s global vision of “Smarter Technology for All.”
“PCs have now become an essential tool, regardless of the user’s background or whether they’re utilized for work or recreation. Our new devices combine what customers look for in those areas to become the ultimate companion tools that provide the reliable performance, connectivity, and entertainment needed as we move forward in this period where technology has become indispensable in daily life,” Ngan said.
The new line of PCs include the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5, Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5, Lenovo IdeaPad S540, and new Yoga C and Yoga S devices.
Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5
Initially launched at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, the IdeaPad Flex 5 features 2-in-1 design for portability. It has two versions, one with a 10th-generation Intel Core i7 processor or an AMD Ryzen 8-core 4000 series processors. A device apt for the creatives, the IdeaPad Flex 5 has an FHD IPS touchscreen display in 1920 x 1080 resolution with free Digital Pen. The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 has a starting price of PHP 42, 995.
Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5
While the IdeaPad Flex 5 is for content creators, the IdeaPad Slim 5, on the other hand, is Lenovo’s offering for modern professionals. Packed with enterprise-level security and connectivity, this device comes with a USB-C port with DisplayPort video output which can also be used for fast-charging through PowerDelivery. In terms of its technical specs, the IdeaPad Flex 5 can carry up to 10th-generation Intel Core i7 processor or an AMD Ryzen 8-core 4000 series processor. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 is available at a starting price of PHP 49,995.
Lenovo IdeaPad S540
Lenovo has also revamped the IdeaPad S540 to equip it with AI. It now comes with the Windows Hello facial recognition for faster and more secure access, while Cortana makes tasks through voice commands possible.
Its battery life is also improved to support Thermal Solution (ITS) 4.0 solution for seamless power shifting among demanding tasks. For its internals, this device comes with either an AMD Ryzen 7 processor with 8GB memory, 512GB storage, and AMD Radeon Vega 8 graphics or with an i7 10th-generation Intel processor with 16GB memory, 512GB SSD storage, and integrated NVIDIA MX350 graphics. The enhanced Lenovo IdeaPad S540 AMD version is tagged at PHP 59,995, while the Intel variant retails at PHP 64,995.
Yoga S and Yoga C
The Yoga S lineup comprised of the Yoga S730, Yoga S740, and the Yoga S940 now comes with a 10th-generation i7 Intel processor, i9 9th-generation Intel chip, and an i7 10th-generation internals respectively. The Yoga S730 has a starting price of PHP 54,995, while the base versions of the Yoga S740 and the Yoga S940 sell for PHP 66, 995, and PHP 119, 995.
Lenovo has made an affordable version of the premium Yoga C640 with a 10th-generation Core i5 tagged at PHP 54,995, while the Yoga C940 with a 10th-generation i7 processor sells for PHP 89,995.
Lenovo Chromebooks
Apart from the abovementioned devices, Lenovo has also brought new Chromebook devices in the form of Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook with an Intel Celeron N4020 processor (price starts at PHP 13,995) and the upcoming Flex 5 Chromebook with a 10th-generation i5 Intel processor (price starts at PHP 31,995).
As a treat to its loyal consumers, Lenovo is putting the said devices on sale from June 1 to 30, where buyers can score the new AI-backed PCs at a discounted price with freebies and gifts like free legitimate software, accessories, and peripherals. Alongside this, Lenovo is also opening its Lenovo Yoga Flagship Store on Lazada this month.
