A more beautiful body should also be a body you can live well in. With this vision, Marie France introduced Go Lose Pounds — the Marie France Way, its personalized, medically supervised healthy weight-management program, at an official media launch at The Conservatory of The Peninsula Manila.

The name offers a knowing nod to GLP, but the program goes beyond the injection. Physician assessment, prescription treatment for qualified clients, personalized nutrition, body-composition tracking and body treatments form one coordinated plan. Medication is an option when medically appropriate, not the starting assumption for everyone.
For Marie France, wanting a more beautiful body and investing in its future belong in the same conversation. Clothes that fit well, a firmer silhouette and renewed confidence matter. So do the strength to stay active and the freedom to keep doing what you love. The Marie France Way considers both, rather than making speed the measure of success.
Intentional from the first assessment
The process begins with the individual. Physicians review medical history, body composition and relevant laboratory findings before recommending a plan. Nutritionists, consultants and therapists work alongside them, with ongoing assessment and support as the client’s needs evolve.
Nutrition and movement guidance work alongside medically supervised body-contouring, muscle-toning and skin-firming treatments—an intentional, integrated approach that allowed guests to experience firsthand what it truly means to lose weight the Marie France Way.

Five lives. Five reasons to look ahead.
Five clients brought the program’s purpose into focus through goals that were visible in the mirror, felt in everyday movement and connected to the years ahead.
For theater actress and host Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante, progress meant looking beyond the frustration of a stalled scale. Her physician-guided plan combined medication and Marie France treatments. Being able to run for the first time became a particularly meaningful milestone: progress was no longer only something to measure, but something she could experience. “These are the experts that I chose to trust.” she added.
For Bernadette Allyson, body confidence and aging well are closely connected. She described feeling more confident in leggings and cycling shorts, while looking ahead to becoming an active grandmother who can play with her future grandchildren. “I just want to live a life of quality,” she said. Her ambition combines the pleasure of feeling good in her clothes with the possibility of remaining fully involved in family life.
Roan Evangelista described becoming more intentional as she navigated hormonal changes at midlife. Having started medication elsewhere, she continued her Marie France treatments while changing her food choices, walking regularly and taking up Pilates. For Roan, losing weight was only part of the goal. “I didn’t want to lose weight only to end up looking saggy,” she shared. “That’s why I knew medicine alone wasn’t enough for me. I continued my Marie France treatments because shape and firmness mattered to me, too.”
Ira Schadewald followed a non-medicated route focused on definition, muscle, recovery and performance. Her goals extended beyond weighing less to how her body responds and what it can do. Her experience offered a distinct example of a program shaped around the individual rather than a standard prescription.
For broadcaster and host Gino Quillamor, preserving muscle has a deeply personal purpose. He wants the strength to carry his children today and hopes to carry his grandchildren in the future. A leaner physique sits alongside a larger ambition: remaining active, capable and present for his family.
These were the launch’s “silent wins”: the everyday possibilities that give the numbers meaning. Each story reflected a personal experience, not a promise of identical results.
The body behind the beauty

Opened with welcome remarks by COO Jacqueline Siy-Share and hosted by Karla Aguas, the launch brought the medical and human dimensions of weight management into the same room. Endocrinologist Dr. Erick Mendoza’s sevenminute real talk explored how aging, hormonal shifts and underlying medical conditions can influence weight, and why body composition adds context that a scale cannot provide.

Dr. Mendoza joined Marie France physicians Dr. Macgerald Cueto and Dr. Regie Layug for the interactive “Truth or Trend” segment. The discussion emphasized individual assessment, monitoring and sustainable habits rather than a universal formula.
The experience continued beyond the stage, with interactive stations designed to let guests experience the Marie France Way firsthand. Visbody 3D scanning offered a visual view of the body; the Body Composition Analyzer provided a deeper look at visceral fat, muscle and other key measurements; and Doctor and Nutritionist Consultation Stationshelped guests put those insights into context what an intentional, personalized approach could look like. Guests could then experience FMS Elite (Fat Mobilization System Elite) and Endospheres, Marie France’s body treatments focused on contouring, muscle toning, and skin firmness. Together, the five stations brought the Marie France center experience into The Conservatory— from understanding the body to experiencing the treatments that can support its transformation.
Progress with a future in mind
The Marie France Way does not end when a target weight is reached. Reassessment, nutritional guidance, activity and physician-led follow-up remain part of the maintenance plan, with adjustments as goals and circumstances change.
At its heart, Go Lose Pounds is an invitation to be intentional about the body you want to live in: to understand it, seek appropriate guidance and think beyond its appearance today. The ambition is a more beautiful body that still feels unmistakably yours, with the strength and confidence to embrace the life ahead.
