Furniture marketplace Our Home and the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) have partnered to highlight awareness in furniture design and construction, encouraging budding interior designers to express their craft and ideas.
Dubbed “Designing Accent Chairs: A New Perspective,” students from the PSID with outstanding creativity participated in a mentoring session with Our Home’s experts.
The students were exposed to different immersive activities including fabric selections and meeting with furniture suppliers. Participants will also visit various factories in the coming weeks.
Eight accent chairs designed by the students were chosen to be exhibited at the SM Megamall branch of Our Home at the Lower Ground, Bldg. A, until November 30.
“Through the collaboration with the Philippine School of Interior Design, Our Home nurtures the dream of future furniture designers to make a name and become luminaries in the field,” Our Home said in a press release.
