The country’s biggest indoor amusement park, Timezone, recently gathered basketball fans and arcade enthusiasts of all ages for a fun time at the Timezone Make It Rain Basketball Challenge.
Those who showcased their skill and strategy to get basket-after-basket shots took home prizes including the grand champion Michael Rasco from Timezone Cloverleaf who won his own Slam and Jam machine.
Raylord Roxas who represented Timezone SM Mall of Asia and won first place and P10,000, followed by Efren Christopher Flamina who made Timezone Ayala Center Cebu proud after clinching the second place and P5,000 cash.
The winners bested challengers from 32 locations around the Philippines from June 29 when Timezone opened the challenge for aged 15 and older.
Gilas Pilipinas players and PBA stars William Navarro and Chris Newsome, Ginebra Kings’ Ben Adamos, and De La Salle Blazers’ Prince Carlos also attended the championship event.
Final winners emerged as the victors after a series of weekly competitions to determine the best in individual locales followed by the venue finals where branch representatives were selected.
