Cebu Pacific’s Juan for Fun Backpacker Challenge is back for the sixth year in a row and on its biggest run yet! At stake is an unlimited, travel-all-you-can pass to any of Cebu Pacific’s domestic or international short haul destinations for one whole year.
Presented by Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ leading carrier, the annual Juan for Fun Backpacker Challenge brings teams of young adventurers on a race of a lifetime across some of the country’s exciting travel destinations. This year, the teams compete in a seven-day thrill around the country—equipped with gadgets from Oppo; data plans from Smart; travel gear from Jake Bros; P40,000 in pocket money; and Cebu Pacific tickets.
This year’s Juan for Fun teams are #TeamPhun from Bacolod City, #Team Malackai of Baguio City, #TeamPatsada of Cagayan de Oro, and #TeamBarbie and #TeamJuanton of Davao City. They are coached by YouTube vlogger Wil Dasovich, Becoming Filipino’s Kyle “Kulas” Jennermann, Beautiful Destination Social Media Strategist Ren Sapitan, international blogger Sabrina Iovino of JustOnewayTIcket.com, and travel writer Jude Bacalso.
The 2017 Juan for Fun backpackers challenge is co-presented by Jack ‘n Jill Chippy and Smart Communications and supported by Ube Express. JFF is also officially endorsed by the Department of Tourism.
