Leading technology maker OPPO showcased its developments in artificial intelligence (AI) at the recently concluded 2024 Mobile World Congress (MWC), emphasizing its goal to expand its presence in international markets.
MWC saw the OPPO Air Glass 3 prototype, OPPO’s new AI offering that combines an ultra-lightweight design and a full-color display. The OPPO Air Glass 3 can perform a number of dmart tasks including AI voice assistant.
OPPO designed the OPPO Air Glass 3 with user-convenience in mind, bringing a wearing experience that’s close to a regular pair of glasses while giving that next-generation AI innovation.
The company also announced that generative AI features will be rolled out to its leading smartphone series OPPO Reno11 and OPPO Find N3 across the globe in the second quarter of 2024.

In collaboration with its partners, OPPO also demonstrated more AI technologies at MWC24. These include the OPPO AI Eraser feature with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and MediaTek.
The OPPO Find X7 series and other OPPO IoT devices are showcased at Google’s Android Partner Work.
OPPO is also working with Microsoft to allow its users to use the latter’s AI model Copilot on OPPO smartphones through a connected PC.
Apart from new technologies, OPPO also shared its position in the market. According to a recent report from market analysis firm Canalys, OPPO was the fourth-largest smartphone brand worldwide in 2023, covering 9% of the total market share with over 100 million smartphone shipments.
Additionally, OPPO’s global monthly active users peaked to more than 600 million from more than 60 countries and regions last year.
