The recently concluded Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 hosted by Acer crowned new DOTA 2 and Valorant esports champions in a two-day event that also highlighted talented OPM artists.
From the 26 teams that competed, Blacklist Rivalry and Team Secret emerged as the best in DOTA 2 and Valorant respectively, each getting a cash prize of USD 65,000.
FAV gaming got USD 20,000 as a cash prize after landing the 2nd spot for Valorant, while BOOM Esports and Team Flash finished on the 3rd spot with USD 7,500 each.
For DOTA 2, Execration placed 2nd with USD 20,000 as a cash prize. Team Aster and IHC Esports got the 3rd place and brought home USD 7,500 each.
The Intel MVP Valorant award was given to Jeremy “Jremy” Cabrera while Marc Polo “Raven” Fausto got the Intel MVP-DOTA 2 award. Both of them received a trophy and USD 10,000 in cash.
Apart from the jam-packed esports action, the audience also witnessed world-class entertainment through performances from Acer ambassadors SB19 and Sarah Geronimo, plus Felip, Ylona Garcia, Urbandub, and Al James. TV personality Donny Pangilinan also surprised attendees with a special appearance.
Lucky fans were also treated to meet-and-greet sessions with Predator ambassadors Cong TV, Team Payaman boys, and Alodia Gosiengfiao.
Acer will be bringing the Asia Pacific Predator League to Malaysia in early 2025 after the qualifiers scheduled in late 2024.
