Good thing Diageo and Plan W Philippines recognizes that music teachers and conductors here continues to struggle to raise the quality and standard of singing. Diageo’s community investment program, Plan W, has been actively creating programs that nurture creating campaign geared towards country’s passion.
They create a program that empowers women, train music teachers and conductors to create and nurture ensembles.
Plan W Philippines aims to increase credibility, and long-term sustainable employments of women both choir conductors and teachers in all regions of the country. Its target participants will be those choir group teachers and conductors with limited resources and access for formal training and education. Through Plan W Philippines program, these women will be provided with practical skills to organize and sustain choir to uplift the standard of choral singing in their perspective communities.

Plan W, globally, aims to enable women to have the skills and resources to build better futures for themselves. They’re goal by 2017 to empower 2 million women across all socio-economic profile. Plan W Philippines not only empowers women, but also bring community together. Its not only create skills, but also sparks the inner joy that drives its participants to passionately pursue their goals.
