This fact was supported by the recent survey that Kimberly-Clark Philippines has recently conducted.
Recognizing this, Huggies Philippines created the Expert Panel, a free online consultation platform that offers new and experienced moms to credible tips and advice straights from the ‘experts’, you can never be too sure of whom you can trust. ‘Expert Panel’ breaks through the clutter and confusion, having been created by the real experts of maternal and baby care,” said Irish Tan Chua, Marketing Manager of Kimberly-Clark Philippines.
Through its parent company, Kimberly-Park Philippines, Huggies Philippines partnered with the Perinatal Association of the Philippines (PAP) in creating the said online hub for moms to get direct access to helpful tips and advice on maternal and baby care.
The PAP is a premier council of health professionals who have dedicated their lives to understanding baby healthcare and motherhood, and sharing it to those who seek the right information. During the launch, Kimberly-Clark Philippines, and the PAP formalized their partnership through an official contract signing between both organizations, recognizing their mutual efforts to provide easy access to tips that will ultimately help guide moms in raising their babies.
“As the lead advocate and major advisory on maternal and neonatal healthcare in the Philippines, we are very proud and excited of our partnership with Kimberly-Clark Philippines. Together, we hope to continue advocating for optimal and ethical care among healthcare providers and our stakeholders, promoting a harmonious collaboration between both parties,” said Dra. Ma. Theresa Hilario-Jimenez, President of the PAP.
“Through our partnership and the official launch of the Expert Panel, we hope moms will now feel assured knowing that the online information they receive is directly from the experts. Together PAP and Kimberly-Clark Philippines will remain to be moms’ everyday partners in baby and child care,” added Dra. Hilario-Jimenez.
When clicking on the ‘Expert Panel’ tab in the Huggies Philippines website, users will be given a list of commonly asked topics to choose from that they can further learn about. Each topic will feature a set of previously answered questions that users can refer to at any time of the day while a text box will be provided for those who would like to ask a new question. Once submitted, the questions will be reviewed and answered by select doctors from PAP and an email notification will be sent to the user if their questions have been answered.
With the availability of the Expert Panel, moms can now hear expert advice straight from the trusted doctors of the PAP. Expert Panel will also compile all the information shared between active online moms and doctors, store it in the Huggies website, and make it available for free to anyone who wants to access it at any time of the day. This allows fellow moms to learn about key topics that other moms are asking about.
Through the online platform, Kimberly-Clark Philippines, and the PAP have created an accessible and credible source for moms, providing them a new opportunity to learn more about motherhood and how to better raise babies. As a result, moms and babies can feel assured that they are guided every step of the way.
