Forbsedge, a brand of purpose-engineered golf apparel, made its quiet Philippine debut with an intimate gathering celebrating the love of the game of golf and its ongoing evolution. By bringing together a crossover of sports-lifestyle figures and fashion authorities for cocktails over a simulated round of play, the gathering showcased how the sport is transforming—but also remaining constant.
Spotted at the Forbsedge launch: (L-R) Joshua Andrei Caracut, Jaymar Reyes, Baser Amer, Ryan Mendoza, and Mika Lagdameo.
The attendees were prominent personalities who reflect this shift in golf culture, among these were: modern golf and lifestyle creator Daniel “Didi” Peters; model and resort wear entrepreneur Patricia Henson; Cath Sobrevega, one of the local entertainment industry’s most sought-after celebrity fashion stylists; and Jesse Guerrero, an avid golfer who chronicles the modern golf experience.

While modern indoor simulators and evening cocktails underscored the reshaping of the sport’s accessibility, the presence of Orchard Golf & Country Club President TJ Benitez emphasized that the game’s core spirit remains the same. Benitez, who provided the evening’s grand prize, also acted as the unofficial golf pro at the event, as an accomplished amateur golfer himself.

To serious golfers, apparel is never an afterthought. The wrong cut or an unyielding textile can alter shoulder plane mechanics and restrict torso rotation, and it’s worse in the tropics when heavy fabrics saturate and cling especially on the back nine.
Across its entire collection, Forbsedge solves these problems directly at the fabric and design level. Forbsedge apparel is engineered for maximum comfort and performance over 18 holes in the tropical sun—lightweight, breathable, moisture-wicking, and 4-way stretchable. It is made with UPF 50+ fabric that blocks 90% of UV rays, and a proprietary no-roll collar keeps the shirt crisp and comfortable even through repeated washing.
Yet raw fairway performance is never enough. Golfers are rarely idle, and when dawn tee times transition directly into afternoon boardrooms and evening dinners, clothing must bridge athletic demands with understated social elegance. Forbsedge pieces feature restrained palettes, clean draping, and zero obtrusive logos, blending high-spec performance into refined everyday wear.
During the evening’s main event: a tournament across a simulated layout. Forbsedge paired the guests into a field of eight two-person teams. At stake was a round of golf at The Orchard Golf & Country Club and more Forbsedge apparel for the podium finishers.
Winners’ Circle: (L-R) Donnie Manaloto, Patricia Henson, Antonette Aquino, Cath Sobrevaga, and Daniel Peters celebrate winning the Forbsedge Golf Simulator Challenge.
Top honors went to Patricia Henson paired with avid golfer and entrepreneur Donnie Manaloto, in second were lifestyle tastemaker Bradley Go and fairway personality Antonette Aquino. Securing third place were Daniel Peters and Cath Sobrevega.
Forbsedge is currently available at its flagship Philippine boutique in SM Mall of Asia, with additional dedicated retail locations scheduled to open across Metro Manila through 2027.
