Wearables brand Garmin has launched in the Philippines the Approach Z30 Laser Range Finder, the latest addition to its lineup of devices designed for golf players.
Garmin vice president of global consumer sales Dan Bartel vouches that the Garmin Approach Z30 Laser Range Finder eliminates the guessing game of golf players on their distance to the pin.
“The Z30 provides quick and accurate measurements and displays them on your compatible smartwatch or smartphone,” he said. “It’s also an excellent standalone device with its speed and accuracy,” he added.
The Approach Z30 Laser Range Finder comes with a plethora of features which Garmin said are designed to help golfers of all skill levels find more precise distances and select the correct club.
These include a key information function that dictates the distance from the pin and to the front and back of the green, and a PlaysLike distance feature which golfers can use to check how far each shot should play.
Golfers can also set the Garmin Approach Z30 Laser Range Finder in tournament mode with an external indicator light to let players know that the data provided are according to the rules set.
The Garmin Approach Z30 Laser Range Finder is compatible with the Garmin Golf App and smartwatches such as the Approach S70, Approach S62, Approach S42, fēnix 7 series, epix Gen 2) series, MARQ (Gen 2) collection, and more.
For convenient use, the device also has a magnetic mount that allows it to be securely placed in a golf cart, a carrying case with a carabiner, and a Find My Garmin feature for tracking.
Garmin also equipped the Approach Z30 Laser Range Finder with an IPX7 water rating for protection against light rain, wind, and sunlight. Plus, its battery can be easily replaced when needed.
The Garmin Approach Z30 Laser Range Finder retails for P25,490.
