Corporate business leaders gathered together in a two-day digital event to experience various showcases of digital enterprise and breakthrough technologies that will prominently figure in their business roadmap.
The event was hosted by PLDT Enterprise, the corporate business group of PLDT Inc., happened last June 20 to 21 at the Mariott Grand Ballroom Manila, that focuses on how disruptive technologies collectively called “SMACS” – short for Social, Mobility, Analytics, Cloud and Security – are reshaping the strategies of enterprises and organizations.

Several prominent industry leaders and technology experts were invited to discuss about various innovative technologies that will reshape business models and create solutions. Included in the program were plenary discussions on Cloud Data Center, Digital Engagement, M2M , Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Unified Communication and Collaboration.
“As consumers become digitally-connected regardless of demographic, enterprises must also transform themselves by leveraging on new technologies to change the way they operate, and more importantly, to transform the way they engage with their customers and employees. The convention will help enterprises make this shift and usher in a more digitally-empowered Philippines,” said PLDT Chairman and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan.
Attendees also participated in breakout workshops focused on specific technology tracks which enable them to gain a more comprehensible idea about the solution that the digital world can offer.
