In celebration of World Pizza Day, Greenwich has transformed the Dolphin Park at Glorietta 4 into an Overloaded Pizza District. In case you missed the fun that day, don’t worry. You can still wait where Greenwich will bring their Pizza District for next year. For now, read on and know what happened to the best pizza party in town.
The Overloaded Pizza District hosted a number of spots where Filipino pizza-lovers can experience the sight, smell, sound, and taste of the very best by Greenwich.
One of which is the Lasagna Lane where people and passersby were allowed to relax while enjoying Greenwich’s signature Lasagna Supreme, and other pasta favorites.
And to help spread the good news about the Pizza District, there’s also an IG-worthy Hawaiian Combi Corner with a tropical photo wall made for the perfect group-fie with friends and family.
The Pizza Parlor, on the other hand, is where spectators witnessed the making of fan-favorites Greenwich Hawaiian and Ultimate Overload pizzas. For those who are fond of tasty side dishes, there’s also the Sidekick Street to feast on Potato Waves, Wacky Wings, and other favorites.
The fun night was also graced by performances of local bands Hale, Mayonnaise, and Silent Sanctuary, plus exciting games like the Pizza Eating Contest, the Box Overload Challenger and Hawaiian Hula Dance Off.
Plus, new members of the Greenwich Barkada were also introduced. Ella Cruz, Julian Trono, JC Santos, and Bella Padilla joined Robi Domingo and Yassi Pressman in the Greenwich Barkada.
Make sure to not miss the best way to celebrate World Pizza Day next year! Stay tuned on Greenwich’s social media pages and be in the know on where the Overloaded Pizza District will be.
