Hennessy Artistry invades Manila last January 24, 2014. It was held at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura Premier, The Fort, Bonifacio Global City. The party was headlined by international and local artists and performers, including KimKat, Timomatic, Nicole Arsenio, UrbanDub, Motherbass and Jessica Milner. The event was definitely grand.
The Hennessy artistry brought together some of the most talented artists on stage for a diverse mix of musical talents, that ranges from hip hop to pop, rock or electronic music, these artistic encounters bring out sounds that create engaging parties accessible by invitation only. The Hennessy artistry events are more than just music concerts and partying because in each event, it offers complete sight, sound and taste sensations in a combination rarely to be found in one music event. This ultimate experience includes mixing bars where party-goers learn how to devise Hennessy long drinks. The Hennessy artistry serves the perfect blend of music and a matching Hennessy drink. The Hennessy Artistry represents a fusion of dramatically different yet complementary genres. The performers were definitely amazing. But aside from the music, there’s something that guests were drooling over… Drum Roll…“The Hennessy Mixed Drinks”. The Hennessy Artistry offered a lot of different mixes but I only included some of the drinks that I’ve tried.
1 ½ parts of Hennessy cognac
3 ½ parts of Cranberry juice
Ingredients:
1 ½ parts of Hennessy cognac
3 ½ parts of Cola
½ part of Lime juice
Ingredients:
1 part of Hennessy cognac
1 part of Lemonade
1 dash of Lime juice
2 thin slices of Cucumber
Ingredients:
1 ½ parts of Hennessy cognac
3 ½ parts of Apple juice (cloudy)
Each mix has its distinctive taste. You would be surprise how Hennessy made those mixes. The drink that I really liked was the Hennessy Apple, it taste like a simple apple juice. I personally think that this one’s the girls favorite. But beware this drink is dangerous. Since it taste like juice you might be tempted to have another glass and another and another until you get drunk. Since I’ve mentioned my favorite drink, I probably should mention my least favorite. My least favorite was the Hennessy Ginger. The moment I took a sip, I decided to put down my glass and get another Hennessy Apple instead. I don’t know but the Hennessy Ginger’s taste was quite weird for taste buds. No Offense to Hennessy Artistry. Its just that, the Hennessy Ginger was not for me. I believe that the people who attended the event would agree if I say that: “The Hennessy Artistry proved that they master the Global Art of Mixing”. So, “WHAT FLAVOR ARE YOU?!”
