Digital services provider and telco giant PLDT Home powered the country’s first-ever premier Pokémon-themed expo open until June 2, 2024 at the Megatrade Hall in SM Megamall.
Pokeverse brings Veronica Taylor, the original voice actress of Ash Ketchum, and Jason Paige, the original singer of the Pokémon theme song, closer to Filipino fans.
Marites Allen, who created Pokeverse alongside her son, Kirck Allen, said that the event aims to give a memorable celebration for Pokémon fans of all ages.
The event partnered with licensed Pokémon distributors in the country and leading hobby shops like Hobby Stadium and Arken.
Additionally, brands like PLDT Home, also showed support by giving exclusive deals and discounts to Pokeverse visitors.
The PLDT Home booth at the event offers a free Pokémon Funko Pop for every successful Fiber plan application. Plus, Pokeverse-goers who will switch to any PLDT Home Fiber Plan will get 50% off on monthly service fee for six months or a free speed boost for 1 year, free P500 Lazada gift card, and free installation fee worth P3,600.
Outside the event, PLDT is also offering P100 off on PLDT Home Fiber Plan 1699 and up and a chance to win free internet for 1 year, P100,000 in cash, or a P1 million grand prize. The said promos are available until July 31, 2024.
