As governments around the world are slowly easing quarantine restrictions to somehow open their respective economies, it’s a must to always make sure that safety protocols are strictly observed and implemented.
Among the businesses clinging to new practices and guidelines under the new normal is logistics and storage firm Keepr Storage. According to its founder, Anna Moncupa, the COVID-19 health crisis has obviously impacted the economy.
“Negative growth typically happens during an economic downturn and this will cause consumers to curtail their expenses to conserve cash. Income is affected,” Moncupa said.
In Keepr, among the guidelines they implement to ensure customers that aside from quality of service, safety is a main priority for the company, is its no contact policy, which authorities recommend to curb the spread of the contagious disease.
“We as consumers value our health more than anything during these times. Having certain protocols in place has helped our business meet our customers’ demands and needs, without having to sacrifice our commitment to our clients. We are still able to deliver the same exceptional service. Already, we are seeing more and more businesses pivot to distance-enabled transactions, and we expect this to continue for quite a while, or at least until we have beaten the virus. I do hope that other businesses make it sustainable for both their employees and customers,” she added.
Under the company’s no-contact transactions, measures are being observed including proper social distancing between the client and Keepr’s Storage Specialist, the use of in-house bins designed to store and transport clients’ possessions, the mandatory utilization of facemasks and PPEs during pickups, and the acquisition of necessary permits from authorities of the subdivision, a building, or a specific area.
“With limited public transportation, Metro Manila has minimal workforce available at the moment. Having these contactless procedures when offering moving and storage gives our customers cost-efficient alternatives without them having to look for more manpower. They are able to move their items and solve space issues without having to be physically present during the quarantine period. Our system allows our customers to do everything they need to do, all via mobile app or web.”
Keepr Storage PH has resumed its operations and can be reached through https://www.keeprstorage.ph or +63-917-533-7774 (KEEPR-PH). The firm also has an app downloadable for free from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store where their offers including fully customizable storage solutions are accessible via a few clicks and swipes.
