The “Pound and Proud” event showed how GynePro celebrated Menstrual Health Month as it raised awareness and changed social norms surrounding menstruation to help women reach their full potential. GynePro’s aim is to educate women on the right feminine care hygiene during menstruation and bring menstrual health products closer to women who need it.
The event also emphasized embracing red days without feeling embarrassed or vulnerable in an enlightening talk by OB-GYNE speaker Dr. Mitch Dado. The discussion touched on several important realities women deal with regarding menstruation, like having foul odor, dysmenorrhea, and vaginal infections, among other issues, which are all completely valid and normal. This was paired with an invigorating rhythm boxing session that highlighted how GynePro helps women feel unstrained in going after their goals and passions—even during red days. Attendees were strong, empowered women who all share the same mindset and goal of normalizing period conversations.
