Starting today, June 12, 2017 – MRT now has WiFi! This is one amazing news for all MRT commuters who hustle and bustle through the platforms just to catch the train towards their destinations.
SMART has launched its Super Speed Smart WiFi at all 13 MRT platforms and will also extend this extensive mobile experience for passengers along EDSA.
Connection is available for all network subscribers everyday for 30 minutes and without any data cap.
To connect, simply check for Smart WiFi signs and turn on your WiFi connection. Then, select #SmartWiFi @MRT EDSA from the list of available WiFi networks to connect and start browsing.
Extend your free 30 minute session by purchasing Smart WiFi load of P20 pesos for 2 hours, valid for 2 days; and P50 for 10 hours, valid for 5 days. Load conversion codes are – WIFI10, WIFI20 or WIFI50 – to 9991.
