Fintech company Tala is gearing up for an educational workshop that aims to equip aspiring entrepreneurs and micro, small, and medium enterprises with money management skills and other tools to achieve their financial goals.
Titled “TALAkayan with Salve Duplito,” the session is scheduled on July 13 at the Trinoma Activity Center in Quezon City.
The 13th edition of TALAkayan will be mounted alongside an exhibit in partnership with Iskaparate, an online platform hosted by social entrepreneurs to help micro-entrepreneurs boost their products in the digital space.
Sixteen homegrown entrepreneurs will showcase their products including crocheted items, clay creations, and Filipino food like baked boneless bangus and bagoong.
“Tala has always been a reliable and trusted partner of MSME owners. Aside from providing easy access to flexible, convenient online credit to support their businesses, we aim to guide them in their financial journey through our TALAkayan workshops,” said Tala senior marketing manager Missy Santos.
Santos added that the success stories of their customers solidify their aim to bridge the financial gap for the global majority.
The exhibition will run from 10 AM to 10 PM while the workshop is scheduled at 2 PM. Walk-in guests are welcomed.
