Following the successful launch of the V3Max last May, 5th top global smartphone brand Vivo has released the V3 in the Philippines. The V3 smartphone is a much more compact version of the V3Max, but still offers the same “faster than faster” experience with its split screen multitasking, faster charging, and fast fingerprint scanning features.
“We’re pleased to announce the release of the Vivo V3 especially after the success of our recent V3Max launch. The V3 offers a much more affordable and compact experience to users, but at the same time still has the same distinctive specifications that the V3 Max offers. We want to emphasize to consumers that it’s possible for them to get their hands on a smartphone with premium features at an affordable price,” said Vivo Philippines Vice President Hazel Bascon.
Still under Vivo’s newly released V-series, the V3 is housed in a metallic unibody shell with a 5-inch HD IPS OGS screen display in the front. It offers faster charging and fast access to your phone through the same fingerprint scanner as the V3 Max, which allows the user to quickly unlock the phone, take photos and log into password supported applications. The V3 also offers the smart split function, which enables the user to multitask through a split screen feature that can open two applications at once.

The V3 offers a Dual SIM and Dual Standby capability, and runs under the Android 5.1 Lollipop with the FunTouch 2.5 operating system, which gives the user quicker access to applications, display preferences and connectivity settings. It is also crafted with a Hi-Fi chipset that gives the user a much crisper and more detailed audio quality, and an 8 MegaPixel front camera and a 13 MegaPixel back camera that offers the same premium photo and video quality as the V3 Max.

The V3 is now available in major retail stores nationwide, priced at PHP 11,990.
Vivo V3 and V3 Max Faster than Faster Challenge
Vivo Philippines is offering consumers a chance to win a V3 or V3 Max through the Vivo Faster than Faster Challenge, a single-player mobile game which can be accessed through the Faster than Faster Challenge page: www.fasterthanfaster.vivoglobal.com.
To join, players must access the website through their mobile phones to lead them to the challenge. Players will be given 30 seconds to “run” their fingers across the screen within 30 seconds, and will be qualified to enter the raffle depending on their scores. Scores reaching 300m and up will qualify for the V3 raffle, while scores reaching 500m and up will qualify for the V3 Max raffle. Raffle entries will be collected until June 18, and the draw will be on June 19.
