Spotify reveals The King’s most-streamed songs globally and in the PH

This August 16th marks the 40th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death. To commemorate the legacy that the King of Rock N’ Roll left behind, Spotify takes a close look at the musical impact he continues to have today.

News of Elvis’s passing shocked the world in 1977. Fast forward to 40 years later, listeners from all over the world still continue to stream the icon’s biggest hits—including ‘Jailhouse Rock,’ ‘Hound Dog,’ and ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love.’

Elvis’s catalog of songs has been streamed over a billion times, the equivalent of almost 4,000 years of streaming. The most streamed Elvis song globally and in the Philippines is ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love,’ which has been streamed more than 90 million times. ‘Suspicious Minds’ is at number 2 with 69 million streams worldwide, while ‘Jailhouse Rock’ rounds out the global and local top 3 with 68 million streams.
