Iconic footwear brand Crocs highlights artistic styles and self-expression through its collaboration with rising OPM artists Lola Amour, Jikamarie, and Maki.
“We gave them the free rein to translate their creativity and use the Classic Clogs and Jibbitz as their canvas for self-expression — pieces of art we hope will resonate not only with their fans but for Filipinos yearning for that freedom to showcase their individuality and style,” said Crocs Philippines marketing head Franceska Flores.
Lola Amour expressed the band’s playful music through their version of the Classic Clog in Moss with Jibbitz that evoke nostalgic feels from school days.
Singer-songwriter Jikamarie, on the other hand, translated her eclectic style through a pair of Classic Clog in Dark Iris. To add a burst of colors, Jikamarie added Jibbitz that represent her favorite things including music notes and smiley faces.
Meanwhile, Maki’s Classic Clogs in Wheat is a pair that’s all about self-love, growth, and self-expression — the common themes in his music.
Lola Amour, Jikamarie, and Maki add to the list of artists tapped by Crocs Philippines for its current campaign anchored to its “Come As You Are” messaging.
Previously, the brand partnered with digital artists and illustrators Jethro Olba, Soleil Ignacio, Kim Borja, Isabel Weber, and Carriel Veloso.
“Crocs have long been a symbol of comfort and versatility, and this collaboration takes that concept to the next level by infusing it with the creativity and passion of three incredible artists. The collection is a reminder that fashion is not just about what you wear, but how you express yourself,” said Flores.
