Insurance provider AIA Philippines joined the global Breast Cancer Awareness Month through the rollout of its “Hope for the Breast Program” that aims to raise awareness, education, and protection from the disease among women.
Under this effort, AIA Philippines launched the AIA Breast Cancer Protect Lite in partnership with The Medical City.
The AIA Breast Cancer Protect Lite is an insurance plan with a fixed coverage of P50,000 to be given to the insured in the event that the person gets diagnosed with breast cancer. AIA Philippines offers the plan for a P450 year-long coverage.
The AIA Breast Cancer Protect Lite is also the first product of the insurance firm that’s available online via its official website as the company targets to make breast cancer coverage accessible to more people.
Apart from this, AIA Philippines, through Hope Mobi Clinic, will also bring a truck with a mammogram machine to various communities for breast cancer screening, starting in San Juan and Pasig.

According to AIA Philippines, the Hope Mobi Clinic will also visit other grassroots areas with low breast cancer awareness and limited access to screening facilities to make testing, early detection, and treatment available to women living in the mentioned communities.
