Consumer finance company Home Credit took its 14,000 employees to a fun excursion at Enchanted Kingdom and other festive activities to show gratitude as it celebrated its 10th year of operations in the country.
Home Credit rented the said theme park in Laguna for two days for its employees – who were allowed to bring up to five guests – to exclusively enjoy the rides and attractions. Staff were given two regular day-pass tickets, pocket money, free souvenir photo, and free transportation subsidy.
The company also brought the rest of its employees from its 30 local offices from 12 regions to enjoy outdoor and water activities in various resorts and convention centers.
Home Credit Philippines chief people officer Alpha Omega Aquino looked back at the humble beginnings of the company where they only had less than 200 staff.
“We started with 158 employees and have now reached an impressive number of 14,000 in just 10 years. With this expansion, stronger employee engagement is needed to ensure that our workforce is in their best mental and physical condition,” Aquino added.
“We recognize the valuable role our employees play in the company’s success. As a response, we provide them with opportunities to achieve personal victories and focus on other aspects of their lives, including their mental health,” he added.
