Xiaomi has launched in the Philippines the product of its anticipated collaboration between Leica, a Germany-based global manufacturer of high-end cameras and lenses – the Xiaomi 13T Series.
According to Xiaomi, the new Xiaomi 13T Series is the company’s response to the new generation of smartphone users’ passion for creativity.
Among the highlights of the Xiaomi 13T Pro and Xiaomi 13T include a triple camera setup featuring Summicron lenses co-engineered with Leica.
This consists of a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera with 24mm equivalent focal length and a 7P aspherical lens designed to capture more light supporting high dynamic range shooting, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 50mm equivalent focal length. Plus, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 15mm equivalent focal length ideal for panoramic shots and landscapes.
Carrying the photography and videography prowess of a Leica lens, the Xiaomi 13T Series comes with original Leica photographic styles – the Leica Authentic Look and Leica Vibrant Look. These offer natural color reproduction, strong contrast, and shadow definition to achieve that classic Leica image aesthetics.
The Xiaomi 13T Series also has six Leica filters, including the latest Leica Sepia and Leica Blue from the Leica M (Typ240) Film Mode. Four new Leica watermarks are also available on the Xiaomi 13T Pro and Xiaomi 13T.
For videos, the Xiaomi 13T Series supports up to 8K video shooting through the 50-megapixel wide-angle camera with OIS and EIS.
Internally, the Xiaomi 13T Pro runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ while the Xiaomi 13T is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra.
The Xiaomi 13T (12GB + 256GB) sells for P26,999, while the Xiaomi 13T Pro is available for P37,999 (12GB + 512GB) and P39,999 (16GB + 1024GB). Both smartphones are available in Alpine Blue, Meadow Green, and Black.
Customers who will pre-order the Xiaomi 13T Series until October 5, 2023 can get a free Xiaomi Smart Camera C200. Those who will purchase the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro from October 6 to 15 will receive a camera handheld grip with light. Plus, customers who will buy the Xiaomi 13T Series at Xiaomi Authorized Stores from October 6-7, 2023, are qualified to be one of the four winners of a Xiaomi P1 32-inch TV.
