Filipino lawyers across the Philippines can now have convenient and easy access to MCLE credit online courses which will help them comply with the respective requirements through the recent launch of ACCESS.
ACCESS is the first-ever and only accredited provider of On Demand Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE). According to ACCESS founder Atty. Peaches Martinez-Aranas, ACCESS is the long-awaited breakthrough for legal education in the Philippines.
“In a nutshell, it’s like Netflix for lawyers. They now have the freedom to fulfill their MCLE requirements anytime and from anywhere, while learning from foremost legal experts,” Aranas said.
“We choose the very best lecturers on specific subjects. When they enroll with ACCESS, lawyers get unlimited 24/7 access to these expert’s courses, gaining a legal resource library they can refer to again and again.” she added.
Aranas said that one of ACCESS’ important features is it allows lawyers to follow their own pace in studying on-demand courses which involve fun gamification, as compared to the traditional method of MCLE which entails hours of lectures through Powerpoint slides.
Under the law, Philippine lawyers must complete 36 hours or 36 credit units of MCLE every three years. With the COVID-19 pandemic, more people are appreciating the convenience brought by online MCLE.
“There’s a real concern during this time around the notion of sitting in a room packed with other lawyers for 9 hours a day over fours days. Instead of losing precious billable and personal hours, spending time in traffic, and money on travel, lawyers will now be able to enjoy stress-free and COVID-safe MCLE with ACCESS On Demand,” the ACCESS founder said.
ACCESS has also partnered with the country’s top lawyers, as well as with the Adamson University College of Law.
