PLDT Home, in collaboration with Zone V Camera Club and Virlaine Foundation, launched The Learning Hub in Barangay Bagong Silangan in Quezon City, aiming to empower Filipino students and communities by providing them access to learning tools through the help of reliable internet connection.
At The Learning Hub, children can browse through free-to-use online learning materials and families can discover livelihood opportunities.
“Connectivity has become a human right, and we believe in the project’s goal of helping provide quality education to ensure that no learner is left behind,” said PLDT and Smart Communications director, president, and CEO Alfredo S. Panlilio.
PLDT targets to make The Learning Hub a sustainable effort to boost the country’s overall digital inclusivity, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
