Fully integrated e-commerce logistics firm Flash Group paraded its tech ecosystem consisting Flash Express, Flash Home, Flash Fulfillment, and FlashPay that will help businesses in the country.
Flash Group is a Thailand-based company which was named as ‘Thailand’s First Unicorn’ with a value of US$1 billion within just three years after being established in 2017.
In less than a year since bringing its services in the Philippines in 2021, Flash Group expanded its serviceable areas to 95%, becoming one of the fastest-growing couriers and logistic companies in the country.
It services include Flash Express, a self-operated delivery network that offers cost-effective B2B to C2C solutions; Flash Home, which allows Filipinos to have access to a high-profit, low-cost service with minimum investment and requirements; Flash Fulfillment, which helps in inventory management and inbound and outbound logistics; and FlashPay, which brings electronic wallet services, payment collections, and payout solutions to merchants.
According to Flash Express country people head Alvin Chew, the company has over 4,819 key customers across the country which it aims to grow by 50% this year. Additionally, it has 22,000 staff, of which 18,000 are involved in operations.
“Aside from our highly-tech advanced logistics ecosystem, the company is also working to add more facilities, hubs, and distribution centers to sustain our 95% serviceable areas as we aim to deliver 300,000,000 parcels as our target this year”, Chew said.
Flash Express operates 28 sorting hubs, 736 distribution centers, 27 pick-up distribution centers, and 2,025 Flash Home branches in the Philippines as of January 2024.
