The inaugural Shopee Brands Summit emphasized the e-commere giant’s significant growth in the Philippines, particularly for its Shopee Mall segment, its premium retail space for brand owners and authorized distributors.
According to Shopee, Shopee Mall orders increased by 20% in 2024 compared to the past year as the segment continues to implement various strategies including product launches and exclusive deals through sale events like the 10.10 Brands Festival.
Launched in 2017, Shopee Mall provides online shoppers access to high-quality brand products which are distinctly labeled on the Shopee platform to let users know about their authenticity.
Shopee Philippines head Vincent Lee said that Shopee Mall helps brands to achieve growth and foster loyalty among customers in the online space.
“Shopee Mall aims to help brands to build lasting relationships with our users by providing a dynamic and trusted platform where both can thrive. We believe in empowering brands to elevate their presence and deliver exceptional shopping experiences,” he said.
Assuring customers of its value for authenticity, Shopee shared that brands under Shopee Mall undergo rigorous verification.
Apart from attractive brand deals, among the platforms other efforts for customer benefits include an extended return and refund window to 15 days from the previous 7-day period and a redesigned interface for better product discoverability.
Brands under Shopee Mall can also leverage the platform’s Shopee Live and Shopee Video features that lets them interact with their customers more.
For the 10.10 sale happening until October 10, Shopee Mall customers can take advantage of deals and discounts offered by authorized brands on the platform.
