In a gathering held at Okada Manila last May 26, 2017 titled “The Next Frontier,” Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation introduced QLED TV, a next generation display with a powerful picture display.
The event was hosted by Sam Oh and together with President Kevin Lee, they presented the new revolution for TV viewing. The new television line also offers HDR 1500 brightness and 100% color volume expression known as Quantum Dot Technology.
It’s not only the TV that Samsung have upgraded, they have also included several TV accessories. One that you will definitely appreciate is the Invisible Connection cable for other TV connected devices that would make your house almost cable free! Other accessories you might want to check out are the no-gap wall mount, array of stands, such as gravity and studio stands.
And how can you survive TV viewing without the remote? QLED TV’s One Remote Control is an equally smart remote that covers all connected devices making it easier for you to navigate through different shows or stream that movie. Your mobile phones can also be used as a remote through the Smart View app.
During the event, there were several activities that supported the roll-out such as dramatic and breathtaking dance accompanied by visuals and an experience zones for that first-hand viewing experience of the QLED TV.
“Each year we challenge ourselves into coming up with upgrades and innovations, but this year’s QLED TV really is the pinnacle of high-quality viewing,” shared Samsung Product Marketing Head for AV Jun Guevara. “From pure lifelike colors, to the easy-to-use One Remote Control, to attention to design inside and out—the QLED TV ends the debate and is undoubtedly the next innovation in TV.”
A surprise guest was brought in and to everyone’s delight, Korean celebrity Kim Soo Hyun graced the occasion and expressed his excitement as he revealed the product will give consumers a viewing experience like no other.
Local ambassadors for the QLED TV campaign consist of award-winning filmmaker Paul Soriano and tastemaker Tessa Prieto-Valdes, two strong industry leaders in their own realm.
“We believe that they are instrumental in showcasing the benefits of the QLED TV through their different fields and passion points,” said Samsung Marketing Director Chad Sotelo.
