Bringing good food into the season of giving, San Miguel Foods recently launched its ‘Flavors for the Holidays’ e-cookbook which highlights 17 easy-to-make holiday recipes including appetizers, main courses, and desserts crafted with San Miguel Foods products.
The event also served as the brand’s thanksgiving for its partner-influencers and digital creators who were treated to a three-hour immersive kitchen experience at the San Miguel Foods Culinary Center.
Guests were also challenged to a cook-off battle where they were given one hour to create a dish with a mystery San Miguel Foods ingredient.
Winners include Roanne Tadina who got the grand prize, a 20-L microwave oven, with her Lime Oriental Wings from the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Oriental Wings.
Charisse Espinosa took home a 6-L digital air fryer for winning first place with her Beef Tapa Shepherd’s Pie made from Purefoods Beef Tapa, while Karina Ramos of Digital Filipina scored the 2nd place and won an electric hotpot griller with her version of Ginataang Manok Inasal cooked with the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Inasal.

To further showcase the amazing dishes that can be cooked with San Miguel Foods products, restaurateur Happy Ongpauco-Tiu graced the event with a live cooking session where she prepared her own twist to the classic Filipino treat, Pandesal Ensaymada with Christmas Ham.
Also present in the event were San Miguel Foods culinary services manager Llena Tan Arcenas, AVP sales and marketing manager Leah Golez, Masflex executives, and celebrity chef Gene Gonzalez.
