7-Eleven, consumers’ favorite one-stop shop, and the world’s leading convenience store seems to be unstoppable in creating bright ideas, counting numerous accomplishments and milestones since it started in 1927, not to mention their several “firsts” in its industry through the years.
7‑Eleven is known in providing a broad selection of products and services at everyday fair prices. They offer speedy transactions, clean and friendly shopping environment. Its main focus is meeting the needs of convenience-oriented guests.
7-Eleven also serves as a diner that offers quality home-cooked style meals at a very affordable price, and a lot of their patrons can attest to it. Every dish that they introduced has become a sensation among consumers because it’s as good as home-cooked meals.
Back in May of 2014, Chef Creations, the premium rice meal line at 7-11 was launched and apparently has conveniently offered amazing dishes that captured the taste of Filipinos since then.
Pulled Pork with Adobo Dip, Pakbet with Bagnet, and Pork Sinigang sa Kamias were among the dishes that was first introduced in the menu. It was the renowned chef and Filipino food advocate Claude Tayag who put her personal twists on these local favorites. Craving customers can have these starting at P75 only.
The demand for more classic Filipino dishes had escalated, which is why 7-Eleven sustained its collaboration with Chef Claude Tayag and introduced a new set of dishes to the Chef Creations premium line, the Bistek Tagalog, and Pork Binagoongan. These are available at selected 7-Eleven branches for only P95 each.
Chef Creations Bistek Tagalog is a simple dish with tasty, tender beef slices marinated with the unmistakable Pinoy flavors of toyo and calamansi and garnished with caramelized onion, while Chef Creations Pork Binagoongan is a traditional Filipino pork dish stewed in mildly salted bagoong (shrimp paste), garlic, onion, tomatoes, and served with slices of fried eggplant and a hint of green chili.
With Chef Claude’s Filipino cuisine mastery, the new flavors of Chef Creations surely bring ready-to-eat meals to the next level. These carry the promise of using only the natural ingredients that are slow-cooked to bring out that distinct Filipino taste.
“Chef Creations makes every Filipinos feel at home whenever and wherever they are,” said Jose Victor Paterno, CEO of Philippine Seven Corporation. “Everyone, regardless of status and position, can have a chance to eat quality home-cooked meals at their own convenience,” he added.
Watch out for one more dish coming this October, 7-Eleven promises a gift of a satisfied and happy tummy!
