As part of its ongoing 25th anniversary celebrations, and to solidify its foothold as the choice haunt for foodies, the Shang is holding this year’s anticipated Gourmet Strip, the food fair featuring the mall’s popular, well-loved restaurants specializing in a variety of cuisines. To be held over the course of two weekends – May 21 to 22 and May 28 to 29 – at the East Atrium, the Gourmet Strip promises to be a fantastic gathering for lovers of good food.

Top food joints are participating in the indoor picnic with their mouth-watering menu that is sure to entice mall guests. Sampler-sized portions of new offerings as well as crowd favorites will be served by the participating restaurants. Apart from enjoying the delectable spread from participating tenants, guests of the Gourmet Strip can also avail of special promos and discounts exclusively offered during the event. Mall guests can also try their hand in creating their own pasta through a workshop by Balboa and a tea appreciation class by TWG Tea on May 28, Saturday, featuring the brand’s extensive array of luxury leaves and brews.
“The Gourmet Strip is a culinary revelry that will delight friends and families as they explore and experience the extensive selection of good eats at the Shang,” says Shangri-La Plaza Executive Vice President and General Manager Lala Fojas.
The food fair’s first leg on May 21 to 22 presents a gastronomic adventure with Akira, Arya, Cibo, Epicurious, Happy Cream Puff, Kimono Ken, Planet Grapes, Recipes by Café Metro, Watami, Wild West Roadhouse Grill,and Zao Vietnamese Bistro.
The following weekend, May 28 and 29, puts the spotlight on culinary stars Balboa, Brotzeit, C2 Classic Cuisine, Cyma, Ganso-Shabuway, Green Pastures, Matgalne, Pasto, Sumo Sam, TWG Tea, and Wicked.
