The holiday festivities for the year are almost over and in just a few days, most people will go back to their usual daily routines for work and for school. But for those looking for one last holiday fun, a good place to go is Araneta City.
Among the sights to marvel at in the “City of Firsts” is Araneta City’s iconic giant Christmas tree, a 75-feet tall attraction located at the Green Gate of Smart Araneta Coliseum.
There are also other Christmas trees around the area that make the perfect backdrop for holiday photos with friends and families, including those located at Gateway Mall 1 and Gateway Mall 2, Ali Mall, and Farmers Plaza.
Until the end of the year, Araneta City also features “Parolan” where shoppers can explore stalls filled with holiday decoration needs, open daily from 6 AM to 9 PM.
Araneta City is also where families can enjoy what has become a Filipino tradition – watching entries at the Metro Manila Film Festival. A total of 18 cinemas at Gateway Mall will be screening proudly Filipino-made films until January 2025.
Families can also cap off an eventful holiday celebration in a cozy staycation at Araneta City hotels, including ibis Styles or Novotel Manila Araneta City.
As known by many, Araneta City is nothing short of good dining places. Being a culinary capital in its own right, Araneta City continues to open must-try restaurants, particularly in Gateway Mall 2 such as World Kitchens, a first-of-its-kind dining destination created by Singapore’s food and beverage guru Andrew Tan Hok Lai.
World Kitchens features a full-table-service restaurant and highlights AI technology for a seamless ordering and payment system.
Other holiday activities hosted by Araneta City for this year’s holiday festivities were a daily evening fireworks display, meet-and-greet with Santa Claus, and Simbang Gabi.
