For this year’s celebration of Valentine’s Day last February, transportation superapp Grab took the role of being the wingman for thousands of Filipino couples who leveraged its GrabCar, GrabFood, and GrabMart services to make their loved ones feel extra special.
According to Grab, it recorded the highest number of orders on February 14 for each of its services since their respective launches not only in Metro Manila but in other cities.
In its Grab Food & Grocery Trends Report, Grab revealed that top orders for Valentine’s Day include cupcakes, whole cakes, ice cream, and desserts. Over at GrabMart, Grab recorded a surge in orders for flowers, meat, wine, and homeware.
Expanding its platform more to meet the demands of its customers, Grab recently rolled out GrabSaver which offers fares that are up to 15% cheaper than a GrabCar ride.
The Grab app is available for free download via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei App Gallery.
